Pros: The staff and services at this location are excellent there's not one person I didn't make contact with as far as the staff that wasn't completely helpful and wanted to just have excellent service for the guests. I plan on coming back next year with more friends to enjoy this location. The "beloved" restaurant which is part of the privilege section is wonderful. The staff there the service they provide the types of food the way it's set up the drinks the coffees are out of this world.
Cons: I had an AC problem in the room first day but they jumped on this and fixed it immediately!

Pros: The beach was more beautiful than words can describe! The resort was extremely clean on a daily, housekeeping cleaned our room on a daily, and restocked our minbar everyday as well which was awesome! It was the best vacation I have ever been on being we were there for a week! The Zumba instructor Eduado was amazing full of energy and life to bad he is gone now! This resort has raised the bar high for other resorts in Mexico and other countries! I would definetly love to visit here again! The representative Asis was wounderful with checking in on us to make sure our stay was great and he was also very helpful with things we needed so when it was time to leave for the airport it was a smooth transition! This resort is a hidden gem and it is a place you have to visit! The staff is amazing and they treat you extremely well, they are extremely nice, and are extremely helpful from the time we got there until the time we left! we felt right at home! Thank you Catalonia Royal Tulum for a vacation I will never forget!
Cons: More english channels on tv, larger selection on resturant and room service menu, food was amazing but we did not like the pizza from room service, but the first night we had the pizza it was amazing after that was not good well under cooked! with flour at the bottom of the dough! But all the other food and resturants were amazing especially both buffet by lobby and the one by the pool!

Pros: I did a lot of research when searching for resorts, and this one has excellent reviews, so I arrived with very high expectations. It's fair to say they met them all. I value highly getting to know different places whenever I go on vacations. However, this is a place I would consider coming back.
Cons: I'm just being seriously picky here. As I just loved my stay. - I purchased a Chilean wine during my stay in one of the restaurants, a Syrah, vintage 2011. It was not good, the cork had spoiled, and the wine was thin, without body. I believe that wine is not suited for long periods of storage, especially in that climate. I ended up not drinking it. So a suggestion: check how much time you have stored the wines, and replace them every now and them. - The waiting time for the entrees and mains in the restaurants is a little long (save for the Centenario). Which is somewhat surprising given the menu is not extensive, and you would expect the kitchen to have them almost ready. - I felt somewhat ignored by the entertainment/activities/photos teams. They were always on the beach greeting people, inviting them to activities, and taking photos, but they seemed to mostly ignore my girlfriend and I. This was a non-issue for us, as we really wanted to be left alone, but I can imagine how someone might get offended.
