Aquaworld Marina is at Km 15.2 on the lagoon side of Blvd. Kukulcán. In addition to organizing deep-sea fishing trips and diving and snorkeling excursions, Aquaworld rents equipment for windsurfing, jet skiing and wave running. The Sub See Explorer offers a snorkeler's-eye view of Caribbean coral reefs from the comfort of an air-conditioned, glass-bottom boat. The sub departs from a floating platform, which is reached by taking a normal boat through Nichupté Lagoon and out to sea; a light lunch and beverages are included.
The Jungle Tour features a ride in a two-person speedboat across the waters of Nichupté Lagoon as well as an exploration of its winding, mangrove-lined channels. This excursion also includes a trip to a reef off the southern end of Cancún Island for a guided snorkeling session. Skyrider offers both ocean and lagoon-side parasail “flights” high above Cancún Island. Thrill seekers will want to board the 20-seat Aquatwister jet boat for a hair-raisingly speedy ride across Nichupté Lagoon.
