Inspector Pick (Pool): I find the oceanfront pools to be exceptional with built in jets and massage showers not to mention the sheer size.

Cons: I wish there were some sort of "golf cart" like shuttle to quickly and easily get from one side of the resort to the other. After 7 days I had very painful blisters from walking end to end multiple times for different activities.
Pros: Excellent location, beautiful beach. the staff in the buffets, bars and resteraunts were excellent.
Cons: The room. 3 significant problems. 1 potiential fire hazard regarding exposed wires after a unit fell off the wall. The front desk ignored repair requests until I pointed out it was a fire hazard. A sink leaked, and it took 3 days to get a working firdge.
Pros: We had a great time at this location. Rooms were very clean and choice of food at buffets or restaurants was great. Was amazing swimming with turtles right off the beach. Make sure you take your gopro there.
Cons: We waited too long to get a room after checking in. We were told that we would get our room at 3pm but it didn't get ready until 4:30pm.
Pros: Amazing resort with lots of options, an incredible beach with small reef for snorkeling. Very family friendly. The dinner restaurants are top notch and with amazing quality. Friendly staff and too many things to do. Will come back again
Cons: Check in and check out may be lengthy. Was understaffed at reception during our stay. Wifi options and setup is a bit archaic and not very flexible
Beautiful resort beach extremely rocky...
Pros: The property was beautiful and had a lot of facilities and activities that were easily accessible. They had on site travel agents for excursions so it made it very easy to schedule activities outside the resort.
Cons: The staff overall was not able to communicate with us due to language barrier. Many times I had staff tell me no but I would later see exactly what I had asked. Everything in the resort was labeled in pesos and the staff were unable to tell you in dollars what they would be charging you. They did not take cash so everything had to be charged. Our room was cleaned only twice from Monday to Friday before we left. We had to track down staff for towels. This was all due to their unusually late cleaning schedule. They were trying to clean at 3-4 pm when we had been out since 7 am. We would need to get to dinner reservations or to join our wedding party for an event and come in to our room to dirty towels. Twice as we were getting in the shower to get ready the staff would try to come in. I feel this was very unconducive. I had signed up for Barcelo rewards before I left because of free early online check in and wifi. My precheck in went through but when I went to get the wifi code from the consierge she told me I was not a rewards member because I did not book through Barcelo. I showed her the email and told her of the precheck in and was told repeatedly you did not book through us so you can't receive rewards. I was then charged 10 dollars a day for internet. I feel given I was a rewards member and the overall expense of the resort internet should have been free. Dinner reservations could only be made through her when you arrived and most all restaurants were unavailable except for 10:30 dinner times. Rediculous! She was rude and unhelpful and her partner in her office sat on her phone with three other groups trying to get completely checked in and reservations made for dinner unwilling to help.
