Go for the fresh, locally harvested oysters hand-picked by the owner who is also an oyster farmer. They serve a delicious patty melt on country bread as well as crispy skinned chicken breast over risotto for those in search of non-seafood options. The $1 raw oyster happy hour is a great value and they come with delicious accompanying sauces, from the typical mignonette to exciting apple and pink peppercorn relish. The cozy yet modern dining space is located within the old Custom House. Some of the original design elements shine through the contemporary white-washed walls and central raw bar, such as the vaulted, exposed-brick and beam ceilings. They don't accept reservations, but if you come early enough you may be able to grab a table by the large windows overlooking the center of town. The friendly waitstaff is knowledgeable about the menu and can assist with helping you choose from one of the craft beer selections that will pair nicely with your meal.
