Classic. Prepare yourself for a giant Viking smörgåsbord. Lobster, Alaskan king crab legs, shrimp, prime rib and Italian entrées are offered in all-you-can-eat style amid a jovial, rustic ambiance. The large dessert bar features homemade cakes, pies and a make-your-own Häagen-Dazs ice cream bar. This place is always packed, even with the long drive through winding wooded roads to get there (must be its reputation for being the best buffet in the state and possibly all of New England). Try to get there before the sunset for a scenic walk on their lovely manicured property that abuts a pond and lake. If you encounter a wait, you can enjoy a drink and a game or corn hole or relax on a hammock or by the pond-side fire pit.
