Pros: The Lodge was beautiful, staff was extremely nice. They prepared a great hot breakfast as well as having a continental breakfast of fruit, bagels, banana bread & bagels. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the afternoon. Great place for a get away.

Pros: Friendly staff excellent breakfast .
Cons: We were on the top floor. I think these rooms were originally used for the help. Our room was clean and appointed with period decor. My only complaint is that I didn't realize we'd have to climb all these narrow stairs.

Pros: What a great place! Accommodations were superb, best sleep we've had in years. Breakfasts were always different and special. The ambience was splendid, love all that wood in the entry! Conversation at breakfast was always lively, warm, entertaining, and filled with pleasant surprises. Don and Jacqui and all the staff were inviting, gracious, informative, helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Beautiful setting, greatly enjoyed sitting out on the deep porch late at night in the cool evening air!
