AAA Inspector Notes
The original portion of this hotel opened in 1926. The elegant brick facade is stunning in season with its many flowering pots decorating the windows and front gardens. Classic Georgian and Queen Anne furnishings and an upscale progressive design compliment the era the hotel was built and create a graceful ambiance throughout the hotel. All rooms feature pillowtop mattresses with Egyptian cotton bed linens and ornately-carved headboards. The hotel is centrally located near many shops and restaurants, and the on-site spa is one of the top rated in the city. Afternoon tea is available for an additional cost but is well worth the price as it includes delectable tea sandwiches, house-made-scones with preserves and petit fours. Smoke free premises. 209 units, some two bedrooms. 4-5 stories, interior corridors.

Pros: The restaurant was fine. Good food and service.
Cons: The room was too small and poorly furnished. The bathroom was also uncomfortably small. The position of the TV was useless. The whole room was in dire need of an update. This room was in the "Historic" part of the hotel. There is a newer addition that may be entirely different. Be sure what you are getting when you book.

Pros: Good location, very good breakfast across the road in a small caffe,
Cons: Overpriced for what it is. And we had to pay extra 150$ for various taxes, that is not pleasant surprise. Bathroom are a bit small and dated. Bed not so comfortable and very high pillows.
