Historic. The chef creates a seasonally inspired menu with new takes on traditional American and New England fare, such as the "grand" chowder with succulent shrimp, lobster meat, sea scallops and clams. More adventurous dishes include the grilled heritage pork chops and seafood paella for two. A fine selection of wine and imaginative cocktails are served by the talented bartenders. Try one of the out-of-this-world martinis, such as the Almond Joy. The strawberry cheesecake martini is another nice choice. The restaurant offers elegant dining and, weather permitting, alfresco dining on the terrace in the heart of Bellevue Avenue. The elegantly decorated interiors provide guests with two dining room choices. One is the dark wood-paneled salon and the other is the garden room with exposed-brick walls and original for-sale artwork on the walls.
