Classic Historic. This authentic 1940 Sterling Streamliner diner car has been serving traditional comfort foods of burgers, meatloaf and creative breakfast dishes for more than 70 years. Grab a seat in one of the original booths or a stool at the counter to feel the real nostalgia of the place. Specialties include French toast filled with mascarpone cheese and fresh berries; grilled polenta topped with peppers and chorizo; and cranberry-pecan pancakes topped with a warm orange glaze. The diner, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is a friendly neighborhood spot that doesn't look like much from the outside but is well worth a stop. The restaurant is broken into two areas, and we suggest waiting for a table in the original section if you haven't been here before. For quicker seating, locals won't mind a table in the diner's rear addition.
