Pros: Got upgraded for free and a free bottle of champagne for their mess-up.
Cons: Gave us room keys to a suite already occupied by another guest, not impressive. Took 40 minutes to get in touch with the kitchen for breakfast room service, which for the price was not even worth it.

Cons: Bar/lounge under renovation so no convenient place for a nightcap. Valet parking a little expensive.

Pros: The location of this hotel was great. It was clean and the facilities were good. The beds were huge and very comfortable. The valet staff were extremely helpful.
Cons: The breakfast service was slow and quite expensive. Although we arrived for breakfast halfway through the service time several of our choices were no longer available. The receptionist was not very helpful, answered questions with monosyllabic response.

Pros: Clean, well appointed, comfortable room. Great fun outdoor poolside, just not enough outdoor poolside lounge chairs. Delicious summer cocktails. Incredible meal at restaurant on site.
Cons: Once the poolside hot tub jets were turned on, the chlorine in the jets ruined an expensive, new bathing suit. It changed the color from a beautiful brilliant marine blue and white print to an ugly grayish purple and white. The suit costs twice what the room rate was! There was a plastic bag taped over our room smoke detector, not a safe feeling in a completely full hotel. There were 4 women with 9 children all under the age of 7 who ran wild inner pool and hot tub area. Unchecked behavior and lack of good parental supervision rendered it not all that relaxing. Room service dishes (more than a single meal service) remained on floor outside neighboring room for over 24 hours. Not a very appealing smell or view when in the hallway.
