Across the street from the Trinity Rep Theater, a popular playhouse in the city center, this Parisian-style café features white subway glazed tiled walls, black-and-white checkered flooring and 1920s-style light fixtures. Every meal begins with a crispy French baguette served hot from the oven in a traditional long paper bag. Most menu items, including appetizers, are big enough to share. A favorite is the calamari Provençal, which is fried then tossed with tomatoes, Kalamata olives, capers and extra-virgin olive oil. Also on the menu you'll find Colorado lamb steak, roast duck à l'orange, veal, sea scallops, Atlantic cod and sesame-encrusted tuna.
