Classic. Since 1983, this sophisticated little European styled café has been serving out some of the best desserts in the entire state. Local farms supply the eggs and cream which help create the from scratch flavor guests travel far and wide to try. Delicious fruit tarts, tortes, and variety of cakes, muffins, scones and assorted cookies make it hard to choose so bring a friend and sample many of the small bites with a cup of perfected cappuccino or Italian soda. Favorites include the banana cream pie, fresh lime mousse, Italian mascarpone torte, and the melt in your mouth chocolate walnut truffles. There is usually a line out the door on weekend evenings, so try visiting during off-peak hours since table spacing is tight and a bit uncomfortable when it is really packed. A table by the fireplace next to the Italian country side mural is delightful.
