This landmark restaurant is the epitome of Rhode Island cuisine. The oysters and other shellfish, which are farmed in a pond directly behind the restaurant, and the organic vegetables grown in greenhouses just down the road, bring new meaning to farm-to-table cuisine. Enjoy their freshly harvested oysters as well as local cherrystone and littleneck clams at the raw bar or request a table by the window for the best views of the peaceful pond. Entrées include baked stuffed lobster, spicy jambalaya, fried whole belly clams, and oversized salads topped with your choice of chicken, shrimp, or salmon. Service is relaxed though still knowledgeable and attentive.
