Good location right near the highway. It appeared pretty clean and the room was lovely, but the bathroom could've used a freshening (the wallpaper was peeling pretty badly). I'd stay here again if I were in town.
Pros: They served a pretty impressive breakfast with several hot and cold items and lots of choices for vegetarians (waffles, oatmeal, cinnamon buns, fruit, cereal, etc.).
Cons: The TV was REALLY slow to load each channel. And I didn't see any way to know what was on TV (i.e., a guide), other than to (slowly!) flip through one channel at a time.

Cons: It was never mentioned that the hotel was undergoing a beyond major renovation. When I approached the building, I wasn't even sure it was open. The construction started at 7AM and finished at 7PM....not good for sleeping or relaxing.

Construction mess
Pros: Free breakfast and new rooms.
Cons: Hotel was under construction and property was a mess. It looked like the hotel was closed. Due to the staff being friendly and professional we stayed but we were very close to leaving. Thankfully we were able to get a new room and a good night sleep although the construction on the hotel started at 8 am. I would not stay there again unless the construction is complete. Felt as if we should of been told of the construction and the hotel could of at least gave us a dicount or paid for us to have dinner that night.

Pros: Bed was comfortable
Cons: Our "newly renovated" room was NOT clean. There was used dental floss in the bathroom among other things. Just gross. Told the desk person and he didn't care. Major construction is going on which Booking.com did not state. We got in late and tired and were woken up to construction noises at 7am. that never stopped. Overall it was not a good experience. Last two stays at a Holiday Inn have been terrible. Thinking we will stay at a Hilton or Marriott for future trips.

A bit of a disappointment
Pros: The bed was comfortable and front desk staff courteous
Cons: The hotel was under construction with work starting at 7:00 AM on weekends too. Only one elevator was working in arrival and no elevator was working on departure. Luggage needed to be carried down stairs from floors 4 and 5. We received no housekeeping while we were there. The fitness room was out of service also.

Quick and pleasant stay
Pros: We were there before check in time and once the room was ready (which they did quickly) they let us now and told us to sit in the lobby and wait. This was very nice because we had just drove over 8 hours and we were very tired.
Cons: They're doing construction and this can't be helped but maybe they should charge a little less for the inconvenience.

Pros: I had to book this hotel last minute after another hotel was totally and completly unacceptable. I don't know what my employer was thinking. I arrived early evening and discovered an issue with my debit card, the gentlemen behind the desk was so kind and caring and was able to work with me without judgement. I believe his name was Jason (maybe Josh?). After I spent almost 30 minutes on the phone with my bank and solved the problem, he got me checked in and into a room and had the best smile through the entire ordeal. My room was perfect, the pool was great, and the coffee was awesome. Highly recommend this location based only on the guy behind the desk. He was fantastic.
Cons: Breakfast was a little lack luster but it got me started with coffee everyday!

Going to a Samantha Fish...
Pros: The bed was so comfortable we wanted to take it home.
We liked that we could still get a smoking room.
Breakfast and staff were great.
We came for the Samantha Fish show at Chan's, it was great to know she was staying there as well and we got to meet her and her crew.
Cons: We were looking forward to relaxing in the pool but the pool and area was not very clean so we weren't able to.
You couldn't see the bottom of the pool even in the stair area.
