Federico Silva Museum of Contemporary Sculpture

Federico Silva Museum of Contemporary Sculpture (Museo Federico Silva Escultura Contemporánea) is downtown at Av. Alvaro Obregón #80, just n. of Plaza San Juan de Dios (about 3 blks. e. of Plaza de Armas). This is the only museum in Mexico devoted entirely to sculpture, and the first in Latin America to focus on contemporary sculpture. Several large rooms on each of the two floors exhibit oversize metal and plaster sculptures as well as two large mobiles.
