Fred Light Museum is at jct. hwys. 4 and 40, just e. on 22nd St., then just s. to 11 20th St. E. Housed in the 1914 St. Vital School, the museum contains a general store, turn-of-the-20th-century furniture, a re-created schoolroom, and displays of farm tools and uniforms from the 1885 Rebellion and World Wars I and II. A firearm collection has more than 250 rifles and pistols dating from 1645. A replica of the Battleford Fire Hall, in operation from 1905-1912 before being destroyed by fire, is also on site.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
