Crescent Park is at Fairford and Athabasca sts. Within the park are recreational facilities, war memorial gardens and an outdoor swimming pool. Free entertainment is presented Wednesday evenings July through August. The Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery, next to the public library, displays historical items of local, regional and national interest. Experience art and more at ParkArt, which takes place annually on Canada Day. Local artisans display their wares, including carvings, ceramics, paintings, jewelry and photography, and for kids there are Canada Day-themed craft activities.
Museum by donation. Pool admission $7; $6 (ages 13-17); $4 (ages 3-12); $15 (family, two adults and two children).
Hours: Museum open Tues.-Sun. noon-5. Closed Jan. 1, Good Friday, Remembrance Day and Dec. 24-25. Pool open daily 1-8:30 (also Mon.-Fri. 11:30-1 for adults-only swimming), June-Aug.
