This is definitely my go-to for Greek cuisine with phyllo pastry so light it melts in your mouth and it has a wide selection of specialty dishes.

This restaurant's made-from-scratch Mediterranean cuisine will win you over at first bite. The restaurant opened in Richmond, Virginia, in the 1980s and was so popular that the original owner established this second location in Charleston in 2017. The extensive menu features comfort food like pastichio and moussaka, seasoned meats, seafood, pasta, salads, and fresh, warm pita sandwiches. Caution: My leftover pasta entrée weighed a whopping 2 1/2 pounds, so come hungry.
