South Dakota National Guard Museum

South Dakota National Guard Museum is at 301 E. Dakota Ave. A wide range of military weapons and other items are on display. An A-7D jet fighter, a Sherman tank and several artillery pieces can be seen outside. Inside are a collection of small arms, military uniforms, helicopter and jet engines. Additional displays recognize the South Dakota National Guard’s role during various wars, other emergencies and disasters.
