Pros: We loved the resort, restaurant, pool and friendly staff. We were booked into the 30 year-old building next to the newer tower which afforded us a one bedroom unit with a fabulous view. Amazing service from a very friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Unfortunately the kitchen was severely outdated, the roof leaked, and the stove downright dangerous! We were informed this building will be either torn down or completely renovated. I hope so, because we would love to return to a great resort with amazing staff and service. We could've have moved to 4th floor of the tower, but that room overlooked a roof, so we stayed put, praying the stove would not explode. If you book the tower rooms, be sure to get the higher floors.

Pros: We absolutely loved this hotel. My mother and I went to Mazatlan for a week long vacation and we decided to stay here. We didn't have any expectations one way or another which is why we found this place to be so special. It is very rare to find a place that will accommodate you and your needs regardless of "policy". From special breakfast orders to making long distance calls back to the US, they always helped us. Never once did they say "sorry but we don't do that" or "sorry but our policy is...", it was such a relief. The pool was great, with a huge iguana living on the little island in the middle of it. The food was excellent! Of course the service was excelptional! We had a great quiet room and we could hear the ocean at night. Even the other guests were so nice and friendly. The whole experience was great! It was just what we needed in the middle of a long, cold winter!
Cons: The free wifi is horrible. There is an option to pay for Internet but we didn't do that so I'm not to sure about the quality.
