Wanuskewin Heritage Park is 5 km (3.1 mi.) n. on Hwy. 11, 3 km (1.9 mi.) s. on Warman Rd., then 2 km (1.2 mi.) e. on Penner Rd., following signs. This First Nations park traces more than 6,000 years of area history. The park's interpretive center contains a DVD theater and features state-of-the-art exhibits and art pertaining to Northern Plains culture. Cultural offerings include storytelling, children's activities and traditional dance performances.

Self-guiding trails take visitors through the 360-acre (146-hectare) park's prairie landscape, with interpretive signs explaining past uses of the land. Trails lead to 19 sites representing the Northern Plains peoples, including summer and winter campsites, archeological sites, four bison kill sites, a tipi ring site and a boulder alignment known as a medicine wheel.

Guided tours are available. Food is available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
