Museum of Social Customs of Sonora (Museo Costumbrista de Sonora) is at Guadalupe Victoria #1 on Plaza de Armas. It occupies a 19th-century colonial house with three patios. The state's past is preserved through displays of furniture, photographs, machinery and work tools, clothing, documents and ethnographic displays. There also is a reproduction of a typical 19th-century Mexican kitchen and a collection of coins from the former mints in Alamos and Hermosillo. Exhibit information is in Spanish.
