Kings Mountain State Park is at 1277 Park Rd. The park's 7,000 acres comprise several miles of forested hiking trails; two lakes, 65-acre Lake York and 13-acre Lake Crawford; a campground; and equestrian facilities. Also on-site, the replica 1800s yeoman farm features a barn, a cotton gin, vegetable and herb gardens, and a blacksmith/carpenter shop. Living-history demonstrations are offered seasonally. Recreational activities include boating, fishing and horseback riding.
