Gray Line of Charleston tours depart from the Charleston Visitor Center at 375 Meeting St.; complimentary pickup from downtown lodgings is available with advance reservation. The 1.5-hour Historic Charleston tour provides an introduction to the city's history aboard a 25-passenger bus; it includes more than 100 points of interest and a stop at The Battery. The 2-hour Historic Charleston & Restored Home tour includes the historic city tour as well as a tour of the 1803 Joseph Manigault House. The 4.5-hour Historic Charleston and Fort Sumter or 3.5-hour Historic Charleston and Harbor cruise tour offers the historic city tour and a choice of either a boat tour of the harbor or a boat trip to Fort Sumter National Monument. Tour duration may vary depending on the boat schedule.
