Pros: The hotel is centrally located, the staff friendly and willing to help. The hotel was clean and well appointed.
Cons: First there is no parking available that is free notwithstanding your stay at the hotel. Parking is across the street which you can park yourself or have valet parking. Either way parking is in addition to the room charge at a minimum of $16.00 per day. When you park you use your room key which is then billed to your account which the hotel then puts a hold on your credit card which they do not tell you about nor do they get your permission to do so. The hold on your account is in an amount that is greater than the amount of your parking and ,therefore, the hold is for several days before the balance above your parking charge is released. Upon arrival I am told after getting to the room and setting up the computer that internet is not free. I can get internet at McDonalds free, this hotel wants to charge you $12.95 per day unless you join Marriott Rewards in order to get free internet. I don't need or want to join anything more to get additional advertisements, emails, solicitations in the mail, etc. I was not enamored by the hotel experience and felt more could have been offered for the price charged.

Pros: Location was great. Bartender was also very nice and attentive.
Cons: Front desk didn't make you feel welcome when we arrived. They didn't even tell me what kind of room I was getting or explain any of the amenities available.

Pros: The room was great and right downtown. Easy walk to history, water, and bars. The hotel bar was convenient as well as reasonably priced. Parking was peanuts for valet, which is a huge plus when compared with similar hotels in other cities.
Cons: No mini bar.
