Historic. This funky little tavern, decorated in chalet chic replete with mounted trophies, features a limited yet eclectic menu, plus a mind boggling selection of draft beers. The menu is dominated by original sandwiches; the most popular is the "Pork Slap" consisting of a pork cutlet, house-smoked pulled pork, Swiss cheese and pickled green tomato. The combination of taste and texture is worthy of its own award. The 42 craft, small-batch and seasonal beers well complement anything you'll find on the menu. All the food served here is provided by local purveyors, but all the beer comes from around the world and is served in standard size glasses, pints and liters for those with big thirsts. For a somewhat unique treat, try some Buffalo oysters with your favorite glass of ale. Spicy and refreshing.
