Hands down, this is the best burger in town. When I get the craving, no other burger will suffice.
AAA Inspector Notes
Step back into the 1940s in this mid-century tavern complete with Sinatra-era music filling the air and framed prints of boxers and championship racehorses adorning the walls. On the food menu you'll find a variety of simple but well-prepared salads, sandwiches and a few entrees. The fan favorite is the juicy tavern burger. The drink menu has a selection of cocktails from the same era as the décor: the "Old Fashioned," "Irish Coffee" and "Brown Derby." Stop in and step back in time. Parking is available is the lot where King Street meets Race Street. Only 5 spots are available during the day but after 5:00pm, the whole lot is available.
