Some of the simplest, straightforward BBQ I've ever had is here. Boy, is it good. The pork is moist and the sauce has just the right hint of spice.

It's one thing to be a James Beard award winner but to be named best chef in the Southeast is quite a feat, especially when your expertise is barbecue pork. Now that I've tried the fare, it's clear the awards are well deserved. The whole hog pulled pork and Scott's own sauce recipe are awesome. Also on the menu are some serious racks of ribs, fried catfish, chicken and brisket. Make a point to stop by or you may be disappointed you didn't.
