AAA Inspector Notes
Whether it's a working lunch, night out with friends and family or just a quick bite you're after, this is the gathering spot West of the Ashley. The restaurant offers a well-tended, multi-item buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but an a la carte menu is also available for breakfast and dinner daily. Friday evening is seafood night, a popular specialty here for more than 20 years; it's best to arrive early. On the menu you'll find a variety of fresh fish and shellfish. There's also a prime rib carving station. Saturday is Italian night, when sausage and peppers, mushroom marinara, chicken cacciatore, shrimp Alfredo, garlic mussels and pesce piccata take the stage. The daily buffet provides a variety for all tastes with offerings such as fried chicken, flounder, roast beef, fresh local vegetables and a diverse salad bar. For the price, you can't beat it. One taste, and you won't want to leave.
