Bob Campbell Geology Museum, 140 Discovery Ln. (formerly named 103 Garden Tr.) in the South Carolina Botanical Garden at Clemson University, contains minerals, fossils and gemstones from around the world as well as Native American artifacts. A replica of a saber-toothed cat skeleton is displayed. A darkened showroom features a collection of fluorescent rocks. Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
Museum admission free. Guided tour $4; $3 (ages 3-11).
Hours: Daily 10-5. Closed university holidays and home football games.
