Historic. With a focus on using local, fresh ingredients, the skillfully prepared dishes include house-made pastas with deliciously complimentary sauces like the pappardelle with wild boar and sausage Bolognese, or the “Scampi Devino” with wild shrimp. Other entrée highlights include bone-in veal chops and porcini seared filet mignon. Each dish is bursting with flavor. A selection from the award-winning wine list offers a perfect pairing with the meal. During my last visit, I was fortunate to find they were offering a 'wahoo' evening special, which was absolutely over-the-top. If you see it, get it. Or any dish that offers the house-made gnocchi. Nightly dessert offerings also are a treat.
