With a focus on using local fresh ingredients, the skillfully prepared dishes include cappa santé fiorentina (seared sea scallops on braised spinach), veal medallions with porcini cream sauce and gnocchi di patate (potato dumplings with Gorgonzola cream sauce). A selection from the award-winning wine list offers a perfect pairing with the meal. During my last visit I was fortunate to find they were offering a 'wahoo' evening special, which was absolutely over-the-top. If you see it, get it. Or any dish that offers the house-made gnocchi. Nightly dessert offerings also are a treat.
