AAA Editor Notes
Georgetown County Museum is at 120 Broad St. Displays and artifacts depict some 3 centuries of local history. Visitors can explore such topics as the indigo and rice cultures that led to an aristocratic society, Native American history, the ingenuity of the slave population and their culture, and the story of Georgetown's colonial, antebellum and early 20th-century history.
