I love sitting outside on the brick patio for dinner. The people watching is great, especially on a warm southern night.
AAA Inspector Notes
Historic. Wood flooring, brick walls and an open kitchen invitingly set the stage for a delicious meal in the carefully restored space in the historic downtown area. An extensive wine list complements the varied, creative menu, which reflects Southern traditional fare with a metropolitan twist. A few of the signature dishes include shrimp-n-grits, meatloaf with a maple Creole mustard glaze, creamy she-crab soup and potato-crusted snapper with crawfish étouffée. Each dish is accompanied by unique sides. But there's plenty more and a scrumptious dessert menu to top off the evening. So relax and enjoy this new Southern cuisine, appropriately served up in this modernized former cotton exchange building.
