This restaurant offers classic Italian fare in a casual-chic setting, complete with a chef's table, plush banquette seating and a very popular lounge. The food is skillfully prepared by the longtime chef/owner, who makes his own breads, pastas and desserts. To maintain authenticity, he also imports all the meats and cheeses. Other items are either sourced from area farms, or brought in daily from the local docks. In short, it's not going to get much better or fresher. On the menu you'll find familiar pasta, veal and seafood dishes, but the depth of flavor and careful attention to presentation will probably surprise you. Tantalizing your taste buds are entrées such as filet mignon wrapped in prosciutto; risotto with seasonal mushrooms; roasted tenderloin of veal; and the fresh seafood of the day. Don't miss this island delight.
