Charles Pinckney National Historic Site is at 1254 Long Point Rd. This 28-acre site, once part of Charles Pinckney's 715-acre plantation known as Snee Farm, examines Pinckney's major role in the framing of the U.S. Constitution. The visitor center, in an 1828 farmhouse, has exhibits about Pinckney, the Constitution, Lowcountry plantation life, enslaved labor and Gullah culture.
