Disappointing

Pros: Location was good, and its a relatively new facility.
Cons: Carpets were dirty - obviously not vacuumed daily, and worst of all - roaches! we saw two of them in our room. Granted, this place is right on a marsh area so bugs are a way of life, but my sense is that the daily cleaning regimen is not up to snuff.

Pros: Location was a prime reason for selecting. Close to bridge to downtown Charleston and beaches and grocery / casual eating and shopping. Management moved us to a bigger room, for the same rate after a couple of nights in a room w/a single queen bed.

Pros: The location & proximity to the venue where I was attending a conference was best. The one young lady on night shift when I checked in and the night I had a maintenance issue was helpful.
Cons: The safety latch on the door had been broken off; the surface of the tub was peeling away in chunks; maintenance was not available for an electrical issue until the next day; one lamp was broken and the bed pillows were tiny: not standard size.
