The cuisine at this storefront restaurant reflects southern Italian and Sicilian influences with abundant and skilled use of vegetables, seafood, fresh cheeses and pasta in the list of menu selections. Among the staples are eggplant, roasted peppers, asparagus, capers and tomato, to name a few, which are well mated to fresh fish or shrimp dishes. Shrimp limoncello, swordfish with fennel, pecorino and salumi with infused honey are just a few of the modestly priced selections. All pasta and the gnocchi are house made and taste incredible, and all of the Italian specialty products are imported, including the bottled iced tea. If you don't see it on the menu, ask; you might get a nice surprise. If it's spaghetti and meatballs you're after, you're in the wrong place. There is no lunch service on Saturday.
