AAA Inspector Notes
This small bistro is popular for its breakfast-all-day menu that offers a number of inventive creations. Alongside classic waffles and pancakes are the restaurant's novelties, including the Southern Benedict, which adds fried green tomatoes to the familiar brunch fare, and Lowcountry shrimp and grits with eggs. Next listed are the casserole dishes, original sauce creations over fried potato 'chippers' and named after local barrier islands. The Goat Island with spinach, bacon and Swiss and the Isle of Palms with black beans and banana peppers are among the options. During the lunch hours salads and sandwiches make an appearance and they are equally distinctive and served on bakery-fresh rolls and breads.
