Historic. Constructed in 1930 as a family beach cottage and operating as a restaurant since 1962, the casual eatery boasts scenic views of the ocean, sand dunes and sea oats swaying in the breeze. The menu features a host of well-crafted seafood dishes and aged steaks. Specialties include sautéed crab cakes, jambalaya, stuffed flounder, house aged steaks and the "Captain's Seafood Muddle," a hearty fish stew in a saffron tomato broth. Whatever you choose, don't forget to have a side of cheddar grits; they're absolutely scrumptious. The enthusiastic and friendly Southern hospitality of the seasoned floor staff complements the great food and attractive, comfortable surroundings. Arrive early to beat the crowds.
