I think this Hotel sits in a strategic position for visiting Charleston and surrounding areas. Quick drive to many point of interest without paying the big $ downtown hotels command.
Pros: Clean room with lots of space, good breakfast selection with fresh food. Excellent customer service, receptionists were friendly and knowledgeable.
Cons: I was charged room occupancy and other taxes on the pet fee. After letting management know of my concerns, these extra taxes were promptly removed and not charged.

Pros: The staff were waiting on my arrival and checked me in efficiently. The room was immaculate and met all of my needs, with options. The breakfast was more than the mundane continental breakfast usually prepared. Overall I would recommend this suite 2 you

Good value.
Pros: The room arrangement was perfect for our party of two plus one small dog, a Westie. Both my husband and I have computers, cell phones, and I also have a Kindle. There were enough plugs and landing spaces for all. The WiFi was decent. Our old dog now has special needs. We need to freeze some things for him and refrigerate others. We need to wash his dishes. The kitchen accommodated both needs and allowed us room to store the refrigerated goods we had from the road. I liked the closet between the bedroom and the shower/toilet room. We could store toiletries on the left shelves so that the sink counter could be left pretty darn clean, and if we had stayed longer, we could have put things in the vanity drawers.
Cons: The pet fee was not cheap: $75. But the place we WERE going to stay had a pet fee of $250. The shower/toilet room was good, too. Only critique was that the little shelves in the shower area were too small. Since I need a hip replacement, bending down to pick up my shampoo was a hassle. But this is a MINOR issue for anyone else. My husband wants coffee at 6 am. On a Saturday? Not happening. But since IHOP and Cracker Barrel are in walking distance, not bad. The Saturday hours for the included breakfast were still good: 7:30 am.
