To be clear, this place is not about Italian steak; it's about great Italian pasta and grilled steaks and chops served with traditional sides. Enjoy a cocktail on the patio overlooking the lake or start in the upscale lounge where you may find an Elvis impersonator or entertainers doing their best Rat Pack imitation. Afterward, check out the diverse menu featuring spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, ravioli or lamb chops and rib-eyes. It's all here, and each flavorful dish is perfectly prepared. I started with the clams oreganata and lemon chicken soup, which were very good. My entrée, the Spartan combo platter, was buried under a thick layer of nutty-flavored béchamel sauce, which I chose to remove—not because of flavor but due to sheer volume. Prices are reasonable, the menu is diverse, and the ambience in the chic dining room is incredible. Give it a try.
