Family-owned and -operated for more than 20 years, the restaurant offers friendly, personable service and well-prepared meals at reasonable prices in a comfortable, unhurried atmosphere. The menu features a wide selection of chicken, steaks and seafood, but the draw here is the prime rib. House specialties include mixed grill of chicken and ribs, rack of lamb and grilled pork chops. Entrées are served as a complete meal and are accompanied by soup or salad, any side dish and honey croissants. My personal favorite is the jambalaya when it's offered as a special of the day, otherwise it's the hearty clam chowder bread bowl. In the hot summer months I go for the kebabs or a grilled piece of fresh fish. It's all good and made more enjoyable by the 'country-friendly' staff who are a treat anytime but especially if you're coming off a long drive and need a little relaxation.
