Agricultural Heritage Museum is at 11th St. and Medary Ave. on the South Dakota State University campus. Exhibits focus on the history of South Dakota farming and ranching. A collection of antique farming, ranching and household items features a restored 1915 steam-traction engine as well as other farm equipment. Highlights include an original 1882 homesteader's claim shanty and a re-created 1915 farmhouse. The Made in South Dakota exhibit showcases items manufactured, patented or invented in the state.
