Traveling as Couple
Pros: The Continental breakfast was very nice. The watermelon was outstanding. Two days they even had biscuits and gravy which my husband loved and the third day was scrambled eggs which he said were delicious. Courteous staff.
Cons: The only thing that was bothersome is that the bathroom does smell musty. I believe it just doesn't have enough ventilation but it's definitely troublesome. The pros of the hotel outweighed this one con for us though as the surrounding hotels are too high
Pros: The location was nice right next to the visitor center, the museum, and first log cabin built by founder, on main street. Also two blocks away we saw a whitetail deer in someone's front yard!!
Cons: The parking lot was small and tight but understandably limited for space. The swimming pool was small but good for small children. Might be better if they added a jacuzzi. Breakfast was minimal but better than Keystone travelodge.
