Pros: The location was nice right next to the visitor center, the museum, and first log cabin built by founder, on main street. Also two blocks away we saw a whitetail deer in someone's front yard!!
Cons: The parking lot was small and tight but understandably limited for space. The swimming pool was small but good for small children. Might be better if they added a jacuzzi. Breakfast was minimal but better than Keystone travelodge.
Pros: The Continental breakfast was very nice. The watermelon was outstanding. Two days they even had biscuits and gravy which my husband loved and the third day was scrambled eggs which he said were delicious. Courteous staff.
Cons: The only thing that was bothersome is that the bathroom does smell musty. I believe it just doesn't have enough ventilation but it's definitely troublesome. The pros of the hotel outweighed this one con for us though as the surrounding hotels are too high
Cons: Refrigerator did not have a freezer and the ice machine was broken.
Pros: Great location, great facilities
Pros: Clean and nicer than most in same class.
Excellent location when staying in...
Pros: We LOVED the location as it was in walking distance to restaurants and shops in Custer. The room was relatively quiet (had some noisy neighbors) and quite comfortable. Since we were on a lengthy trip, having laundry facilities was a bonus. It was nice being able to have a quick breakfast right there in the hotel without having to stop for breakfast before beginning our daily adventures.
Cons: The view was not ideal, but that really wasn't an issue for us. There could have been a few more choices for breakfast.
Pros: Friendly staff, indoor pool
Cons: The breakfast selection could have been more varied. There were a lot of starchy foods--bagels, muffins, bread, waffles--it would have been nice to have a bigger selection of fruit and maybe bacon or sausage, even if it had to be heated in the microwave. Other than that the staff did a great job of keeping the food supplied and the place neat and orderly.
Pros: When we arrived the property had not received our reservation and the manager worked very hard to accommodate our needs. Disappointed in booking.com.
Cons: The fact that you at booking.com did not take care of our reservation.

Pros: Location was the best quality of this hotel
Cons: Dated and dingy appearance throughout the public spaces. Carpets need replacing. Plastic flowers in the hallways. No elevator. Rooms are dark and uninviting. Room was clean but had a musty smell.
Very pleasant quiet and restful...
Pros: Convenience of restaurants, shops and attractions in the area. Very friendly honest and helpful service. Plenty of parking.
Cons: Everything was great. Maybe the breakfast could have been a little better. The eating tables were a bit small to eat on and easily rock. Spilled my oj just nudging the table.
Pros: Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ac
Cons: The AC was loud.
Sleepy in Custer
Pros: The lady preparing the breakfast was wearing rubber gloves while working with the food. Also once I saw her touch the trash can and she took off that glove and replaced it with a fresh one.I really appreciate the proper sanitation she exhibited.T
Cons: There wasn't an elevator.
Pros: Location was ideal & desk staff helpful with dining recommendations.
Cons: Bathroom was tight size-wise, but very clean & functional.
