Casey Tibbs South Dakota Rodeo Center is at 210 Verendrye Dr. This museum is devoted to the culture of the rodeo, South Dakota's official sport. It highlights the sport's history and stars, including nine-time world champion saddle bronc rider Casey Tibbs and trick rider Mattie Goff Newcombe. Exhibits focus on the sport's entertainers, including rodeo clowns, queens, announcers, stock contractors and cowboys. Articles displayed include costumes, saddles, championship buckles, spurs and photographs. An interactive bronc riding room and a dress-up corner for kids also are featured. An outdoor sculpture garden features five-time world champion Billy Etbauer. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
