This is a big-city steakhouse in a small town. Set in a beautifully restored bank from the turn of the century, this restaurant boasts high ceilings, ornate woodwork, dramatic drapery and custom light fixtures and the bar sits right where the old bank tellers used to be. Herbed-butter-baked lobster or a guacamole martini might get you started before you tuck into a perfectly cooked steak. Salmon, walleye, ahi tuna, chicken and pastas also are featured. Small-town friendliness, proficient service, a pretty good wine list and great desserts, including a signature Frangelico chocolate crème brûlée, cap it all off.
