AAA Inspector Notes
Set amid coconut palms and fringed by a long stretch of beach, this sugar plantation circa 1778 offers a retreat-like atmosphere where refined service prevails. Choose from varied-size cottages. The loft units with a second story provide excellent views. Some guest units feature vaulted ceilings. This property will take you back to an ambiance of yesteryear and that is why there are intentionally no televisions or music playing devices. There are four room categories to choose from beginning with the superior rooms as the lead category. Smoke free premises. 36 cottages. 1-2 stories (no elevator), exterior corridors.

Pros: This place is perfect for a quiet romantic getaway. Property is beautiful, perfectly Caribbean.
Cons: If you don't eat on their schedule you don't eat. There is no room service. Service is so slow it's a snail's pace. Order two drinks at a time. Don't expect anyone to move fast or even moderately fast. Staff was courteous but not what I would call friendly other than the front desk, they were great. Place is wonderfully Caribbean but definitely on"island time"

Pros: Friendly, friendly, friendly. Great service. Great food. Great ambiance. Beautiful beach. Duplex cottages.
Cons: WiFi was in and out. Security lighting an issue for light sleepers. Bring a sleep mask. Somewhat isolated. Twenty minute drive from Charlestown. No problem if you rent a car (we did) or if you are content to stay on site.
