Lovely property that is ruined...
Pros: The resort itself is very pretty - spread out over a huge plot of land and around a marina, you need a golf cart to get around if you haven't rented a car (which I would definitely recommend for St Lucia). The rooms were excellent, with a lovely terrace, with hot tub, spacious bathrooms and a terrific kitchen. The beach has a great view of Pigeon and Rodney Bay and is very nice and clean with calm waters.
Cons: The whole resort is let down by the guests and the lack of attention by the staff. We had dinner at the restaurant on the day of arrival, and a half hour into dinner we asked the waiters if they could send the food to our room, since it was unbearable to stay in the restaurants. On the hotels side the staff was rushing everything and seemed too stressed, and the phone in the restaurant rang non-stop. On the guests side, more than half the families had children and the parents had apparently given up on trying to control the shouting, crying and fighting. Other tables decided to arrange their own pub quiz. The next day we came for a drink at sunset to find the same crowd at the bar after a day a the beach. Plastic bags everywhere, kids climbing on the bar and the furniture, and lots of additional noise from the staff. We've learned from our previous stay in a resort in Barbados, that the staff can positively address these issues. The staff can lead by example and show that this resort is meant for people to relax and unwind. Parents can be asked to look after their children and allow other guests to enjoy their time, and a dress code or some basic etiquette rules might ensure that guests don't mistake the resort bar for a pub crawl.

Pros: The staff is very friendly. Overall, we had a great holiday. The Landings is a beautiful property. There were so many things to do that we were not able to do everything.
Cons: The internet wasn't adequate. It took me hours just get get my email to open. I was able to post pictures to social media, but was not able to check my emails. The pool near the Beach Club was always busy and there were not enough loungers to accommodate everyone.

Pros: Excellent accommodations for our family including two children ages 11 and 7 and my 80 year old dad...everyone had a fantastic stay and we cannot wait to go back!

Fantastic, fun and relaxation! This...
Pros: This was a fantastic location and the hotel staff are amazingly helpful! Truly relaxing. I took my elderly parents on a holiday (and they live in the Caribbean, another island though) and loved the Resort! Thumbs up from locals!
Cons: Sometimes the meat for dinner (kebab night) was over-cooked. The Calaloo Bar food was amazing though. Expected more variety of seafood on the menu (clams, crab etc). Sad to have missed out on the Palms, wish I knew before they are only open on some nights. But next time!
