As good as it gets
Pros: The rooms were extraordinarily designed and location on the mountains near the sea in the rain forest for all practical purposes is truly exquisitely beautiful. The staff are happy to serve you and are determined to please. The food, especially at Aspara, is exceptionally well prepared and each dish uniquely seasoned. The beaches have black crystals from the nearby dormant volcano that make the sand a pretty dark shade. Snorkeling is easily done from the beach and so is scuba. The reef is no more than 10 yards out most places. There are many nature attractions nearby.
Cons: The private road to the hotel is in serious disrepair, which I speculated may have been intentional to deter people from town from coming because all beaches in St Lucia are public. It would be very hard to get around if you had any mobility issues because the grounds are steep.

Bliss....
Pros: Location, Location, Location! Great staff, lovely property. And great food...
Cons: Not much really... Even though the steps were a bit annoying it's just the trade-off for such an amazing location and the tranquility surrounding the hotel

Would i come here again....
Pros: I liked the privacy of the property, the people here were very nice to the guests and the food was wonderful. The lodging was comfortable and there are different rooms to stay in for viewing the ocean or mountains
Cons: It was a long one plus hour drive from the airport to the private entrance of the property. The road is very windy and exhausting. Just when u think u are there, you have to drive on a very bumpy and very narrow street for another 15 mins. Also the property is located into a hillside and to get down to the beach u have to manuver probably about 50 concrete steps, so if u have issues with going up or down stairs this will be a problem. I went on a bicycle excursion on some trails in a cocoa plantation area and all of the bikes were in poor shape.

Pros:
Cons: The balcony was unsecured, but had plenty of seating and the fridge which is a security issue. The mud bath excursion should have been package with the excursion that went to the same exact place. Prices for food and drink somewhat inflated to convince you to get AI package.
