Greeneville Greene County History Museum is at 101 W. McKee St. at S. Main St. Originally named for the Revolutionary War general Nathanael Greene, the museum includes historical documents and items associated with President Andrew Johnson; Mordecai Lincoln, a Greene County leader and cousin of Abraham Lincoln; and Confederate general John Hunt Morgan. Additional highlights include the Cherokee Gallery, a military exhibit, antique furnishings and pioneer tools. A 1917 American LaFrance fire engine is on the grounds.
